Medical_Fielding.jpgDr. Fielding O'Niell is a New Orleans native and graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He has extensive post-graduate training in the field of infectious disease and holds a Masters Degree in Veterinary Microbiology. Dr. O'Niell has special interests in Dermatology & Orthopedics.

Joni_Dalton.jpgJoni Dalton, Veterinary Assistant joined the staff in 2011.  She has over 10 years experience in the veterinary field and an Associate's Degree in Science.  Joni also has completed some coursework in the veterinary technology program and is a Certified Dog Trainer.  Her professional interests include geriatric pet health and care and dental care.  Her personal interests include horseback riding, rehabilitating wildlife and fishing. In fact, she holds the state record for catching a large mouth bass weighing 10.13 pounds in 2007.  In 2012, she caught a 56 pound catfish.

Jessica Heward, LVT, joined the staff in 2012 as a part-time technician.  Originally from Annapolis, MD, she received her BAS in Equine Science from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA.  After graduation she moved to Virginia to manage a large equine breeding facility in Goochland.  She continued her education and received her degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician from Blue Ridge Community College in May 2011.  Jessica also works full-time at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center in Richmond.  During her spare time she enjoys riding and competing on her black Quarterhorse, King Coal.
